When I wrote “An Engineering Kind of Mind” I listed the qualities that educators often possessed.  For our best educators, it seems almost intrinsic.  I bet no one ever considered that the best educators were in fact some of the most saavy engineers.  It’s all because they understand the very thing that Peter Senge mentioned here: “It’s not about ‘the smartest guys in the room.’ It’s about what we can do collectively.” How much do you think system-thinking matters in making the ethical considerations to properly educate everyone, no matter the demographic?
